Christmas!

We had a great Christmas celebrating here in Texas. I think Cannon and Matthew loved the wrapping paper more than the actual presents. I think next year we will skip the presents and just wrap boxes J Eric also loved wrapping except he just wanted to wrap presents in the biggest possible boxes! He gave me a gift certificate, but it was basically wrapped in a wardrobe box with a chair in it to throw me off. What a great Christmas and fun to celebrate together as a family.

We also spent time in Utah with family! At my parents house we continued with tradition and acted out the story of Jesus' birth with my dad reading from Luke (and usually ad libbing) at times. With 7 kids under age 6 it can be pretty wild!

Cannon's Sealing!

We are official. We had such a great blessing for our family over Christmas in taking Cannon to the temple to be sealed to us. We are so happy to have this little guy in our home and thankful for his happy spirit. More pics are on Katie's photo blog: http://simplykphotos.blogspot.com/

Fun pics

I had my friend Katie take some pictures of Cannon and we attempted to get some with Matthew, but he was not cooperating! Thanks Katie :)

Christmas a little early

We had Dave, Eric's Dad, down visiting this weekend and it was so much fun! Little did we all know he would end up helping us put cabinets up in our laundry room. Eric and I had been talking about it for awhile and with alittle extra push and help from Dave this is what my laundry room looks like. Thanks Eric and Dave for all of your hard work!

Thanksgiving

We had a lot of fun for thanksgiving this year. It is so nice to have Eric home for a couple of days. We had Thanksgiving dinner at our friends the Sherman's and had a great time with lots of friends. On Friday we went to the Renaissance Festival with our friends the Mitchells and their cousins. We had fun walking around, seeing lots of medival sorts, eating cheesecake on a stick and of course getting me a big soft pretzel.
