Utah Christmas 2011

We had a great time in Utah this year.  We landed and went straight to Temple Square.  The boys hadn't ever been and they loved the lights and we had such a good time.  We got there early enough and avoided most of the crowds - around 5 pm is the perfect time just in case anyone is wondering.  We spent time with all of our family,train rides with Dave and Claudia, Gingerbread houses, piling in the truck and looking at Christmas lights - all the highlights were there:) 

Texas Christmas 2011

We had so many Christmas celebrations that it is hard to count.  We celebrated here in Texas with 60-70 degree weather and then went to Utah to celebrate with family and friends.

Texas: If you didn't know, Christmas comes early in Texas.  Okay well for us it does.  We are usually in Utah at Christmas and this year we asked Santa if he would come to our house before we left.  It was a lot of fun.  We went to dinner as a family the night before and then had our own little Christmas Eve here.  We are glad Santa came to Texas, I am not sure how we would have gotten two bikes on the plane:)  It was great though we spent the whole day just doing stuff with the kids, playing legos (eric's fav), riding bikes at the park, playing soccer, and playing t-ball.  We realized we need to do that a little more often.
