Chandelier
A couple of weeks ago Matthew kept pointing and asking me what something was in our dining room. He looked nervous, so I thought it was a bug or something. I couldn't see anything and didn't think anything of it. Last week we discovered he is really quite terrified of the chandelier in that room. If we lift him up to get close to it he literally grabs onto us with this total panic face. It is kind of funny and we aren't sure why he is so scared of it. I almost wonder if it is because it moves maybe. I don't know. Who knew chandeliers were so scary!

7 years!
Eric and I have been married for 7 years. It is a little crazy and we are feeling pretty lucky to have each other and to have two little boys in our family. This year I had planned to go to the Houston Museum of Science and see the Terra Cotta Warrior exhibit. I had planned to go Saturday afternoon and then I got a babysitter for the evening so we could go to dinner and maybe a movie (a luxury these days). Luckily Eric mentioned that we were going and one of his friends from scouting said he could get us in free if we came during the week. So we changed our mind and went Monday instead.
We had a great time at the museum and the exhibit was cool. Eric said it didn't live up to the real thing, but not all of us get to go to China. I loved it and am amazed at what people can do. Here are a few pics. You can't take any inside, so we had to stand next to the pictures outside. We walked around some of the other exhibits and topped the night off at the McDonalds inside the museum. Yep it was the best anniversary dinner we have had! :)
Yummy!

A few random pics
Here are a few pics of the last week or so. I think my favorite one is the one with both boys laying on the couch looking at the toy. When I took it, I thought of all the cute brother things they will do together. I hope I have many more of these cute moments. Also, if anyone knows how to fix the second picture, please let me know.
Love those toes!

I like my watermelon....

Yellow?
So Matthew's new favorite fruit is watermelon. He loves it and asks for it all the time. So the other day I picked one up at the grocery store and I cut into it last night for dinner. Guess what I found?!? Yep - yellow watermelon. I personally didn't taste it, but Eric being the daredevil he is tasted it and said it was fine and gave some to Matthew. I was completely bummed.

Our big little man
So today is Cannon's 4th month birthday. I can't believe he is already 4 months. What a surprise he was to us. We are so happy to have his little spirit in our home.
We had his dr visit for his shots. He was super cooperative - He had a blowout diaper when I pulled him out of his carseat to undress him for the nurse to check him and then when we weighed him, he had an accident on the scale. So much fun for the nurse:) Anyway his stats are
Weight: 18 lb 5 oz - yep still 95%- Look at those cheeks!
Height 25 inches - 50%
Head - 17 inches - 75% I guess his head is also a little bit too heavy to move around. He is developing a bit of a flat head on his right side. So our pediatrician recommended we visit a physical therapist to work on his neck muscles. So sad. Our dr. thinks it is torticollis which is a tight neck muscle. Hopefully we can work it out and fix that cute little head of his.
Other than that he is growing and changing every day. He has recently found his toes and loves to put everything in his mouth. We are in the middle of changing his formula again in hopes to find something that will suit his tummy better and that will help him to sleep a little better:)
