Thanksgiving 2011

We had a great Texas Thanksgiving.  We love that it is nice weather and we can play outside.  Eric especially loves that Alan comes to visit and they can golf till their little hearts content:).  This year we had a small group of friends over to help us eat the yummy food we all brought.  It was a lot of fun and we totally forgot to take a group picture.  I have a few of the kids with their hats on....sad. Oh yea and my turkey cheeseball.  Silly of course.

Halloween 2011

We continued our Pirate theme for Halloween with Matthew being a pirate and Cannon being a pumpkin.  Totally random.  I thought our days of being a "themed" family had come to an end.  Eric however did not and came up with a plan the we attempted and was funny although I hated my costume.  We were 3 Jacks and a Jill.  Jack Sparrow the pirate and a Jack-o-lantern.  We showcased our costumes at our ward Trunk or Treat. 

On halloween night we took the boys out trick or treating and to our amazing neighbors house.  This year he literally built a castle in his front yard with a dragon, a drawbridge and a guillotine as his front door.  It is quite amazing how much time he puts into his halloween decorating.
